So I have made it halfway through my 30-day challenge. I’m sorry if I have let you down at all in the interview areas of the website, but I promise, there are some super cool and super interesting people I am yet to meet, and then their stories will be posted here for you to enjoy.
Last week I really focused on my challenge. I had to. It was a physically and mentally tough week. My body is not used to such intense exercise on a daily basis! But it is slowly adjusting and changing. I hope you are following my blog and keeping up to date with my daily insights in class. Interesting people I watch (and sometimes get a little piece of them to take away, how nice). Maybe you are interested in trying out a bikram class for yourself? Check out their website, www.eastwest.co.nz. Or for those of you who aren’t into killing yourself at yoga, and would like a more personal, spiritual and relaxing (while still working out) experience, I highly highly highly recommend The Albany Yoga Room. Once my 30-day challenge is over you’ll be seeing me there a lot more!
So as usual, if you or anyone you know has a cool story you think needs to be told – let me know! I’m keen to meet anyone who is doing something awesome and original, and who wants others to know about it!
Keep smiling

Hello, fellow readers. Last week I was super busy, with a combination of the first week of my 30-day challenge, as well as meeting James from JUIDfashion, and supposedly meeting Brett from Lemongrass House. I say ’supposedly’, because I turned up to our meeting, to find that Brett had his days mixed up and wasn’t there to meet me! I forgive him though, it was his birthday (I found out from Anneliese, the shop assistant I spoke to instead of Brett).
It has been super fun though, collaborating all this cool stuff for you to read. Soon the new fashionista section will be unveiled and you will meet Gil, who will be getting amongst it and getting the pics of you guys looking suave.
Anyway, enjoy this week’s articles….
Read my interview with James here, and check out his range of hand made t-shirts.
Read my half-interview here with Anneliese from Lemongrass House.
Most importantly, keep smiling

What an awesome first week Rose Coloured Glasses has had! Thanks so much to all of you who have checked me out and especially to those of you who are contributing with your fabulous creations and ideas!
I am so grateful to everyone who is willing to meet me and let me write articles about you – without you this site would not be possible! Seriously! So thank you so much Samantha and Shelley, and Celine (who is now being super-awesome and I will soon be meeting and writing about her up and coming artist friend, Matt – you just wait, it should be a goodie!)
This week I am going to meet James from JUIDfashion – tomorrow night in fact, so come back soon and read about what he is doing. Today I went into Lemongrass House, a cute little shop on Ponsonby Road and spoke to Anneliese who works there – I’ll have a proper interview up by the end of this week!
Soon there will be a new section put into my site as well, one you may be rather excited about (I definitely am!)… A good friend of mine has offered his photography skills and penchant for late night shenanigans, and he is going to be hitting the Auckland nightlife and getting pictures of you guys looking suave, and we will be posting them on Rose Coloured Glasses, for you to check out!
Keep smiling,

So this week I am busy investigating lots of different and exciting areas for you, and bringing you brand new top of the line information and tips!
On Monday I met with Sam and Shelley from ageLOC, who distribute a range of products which promise to ‘lock in your age!’. Very interesting - read my story from my evening with them here.
So I also got to meet Celine from the fabulous fashion label Celine Rita. Celine is an absolutely gorgeous girl who is making her passion her life, and doing very well out of it. Read my story on Celine and her winter range Beautiful Little Fools here.
Another fabulous interview I got to do this week was with the best mother in the world – mine! Sue is the director and head teacher at the Albany Yoga Room, which teaches a unique style of fusion yoga. Read my interview with her here.
Keep smiling, and definitely keep visiting me

I admire your style, the fact that your page is a noticeably bit different makes it so interesting, I get fed up of finding the same-old-same-old all of the time. I’ve stumbled this page now
